Arrrgh I spent ages perfecting my IEEE 754 Floating Point skills for essentially no gain whatsoever. I was kind of disappointed because I basically only studied dev. view of the hardware and it was relatively short compared to the rest of the exam.

I wouldn't worry too much about your software mark, it's a new subject and the message I've been recieving is that most people's teachers have no idea and most of the markers/examiners seem to be confused about how to turn on their computer. It'll take years before SDD becomes a "respectable"...
