Advice for those in Year 10

Well having completed the HSC today I can tell you I learnt next to nothing worth remembering. Such a fucking waste. Business Studies and Legal Studies were the only two decent subjects because I actually learnt some shit that can be applied to the real world. Obviously if you want to go to Uni...

    Table???? For It Test

Yeah I knew I fucked that bit up, it wasn't worth too much anyway so it's okay.

Advice for those in Year 10

The senior years are shit, the higher school cetificate is a fucking load of shit, drop-out now and get jobs while you still can :p

    Table???? For It Test

Yeah I defined them - Compact Disk Read Only Memory and put like cd-rom drive 650mb-700mb And yeah 1.44 mb, 1 and a quarter inch floppy floppy drive And digital audio tape 40-80gigs, and I didn't really know whether to put a digital drive thing or what so I just put cd-rom :S

    Easy.

Hmm yeah I thought firing him was a bit excessive but I did mention threats and warnings and what-not.. But yeah, if he did it a second time he'd be making a trip to the dole office.
  7. R

    Easy.

Yeah I went in there hoping they didn't ask for some whacked-out shit format. I knew how to do reports fairly well (done plenty in business studies), and e-mails and memos and that's about it. It was just too sweet. :D Plus I knew spreadsheets/database/word processing and OH&S related stuff...

The General 'how did legal go?' thread

Yeah, my essay question were fairly general. I chose part B for both of them as they seemed fairly broad and I wanted to be able to incorporate the whole topic into it since I knew it inside out. I haven't taken any notice whether the other questions were issues/remedies and effectiveness but...
  9. R

    Easy.

Hmm fairly easy test.. 3 reports.. Whack. Short answers - Pie Weird wording on question 6 of multiple choice, requirements led me to believe it's company policies, but meh... I don't care it's all over. No more fucking HSC. Wasted and smashed is now my action plan.

    Differences between common and civil

Obviously no one read my post... America - Civil and Adversial.. So it isn't the major difference.
  11. R

    Legal Studies: Wtf?

Yeah I was thinking about looking into the differences of common and civil law systems (luckily my friend asked me ages ago about it and I remembered most what I'd told him), but I so didn't think it would come up because I don't give a shit about civil systems, being an Aussie and all. I'll...

since everysub seems to have one...how many pages

I feel much better knowing I knew my topics inside out and could easily answer any question thrown at me in the exam, I'm not cut at all. It's the people who go in there with massively planned essays that make others look bad.
  13. R

since everysub seems to have one...how many pages

..And your morales, if you had any to begin with.
  14. R

    WOW hard test!

Yeah I'd been nailing the crime sections up until this one, I'll probably only score like 17-20, all depends on the marker I suppose, who really knows how they do it. Really different shit, plus I left it til last since I'd studied hard for my option topics.
  15. R

since everysub seems to have one...how many pages

Yeah I did like 6 for crime 8 for technological change And like 7 for family I don't see how the fuck I could write much more considering I didn't stop the whole time, the only way to do more is to plan essays which is way against my morales. Fuck you to the cheap bastards that write...

    Differences between common and civil

America uses a civil law system and it's adversial so that isn't really a difference, I mentioned that in my response just to screw anyone who used it. If you named some countries and said that it is a difference usually then I guess you're okay. :D
  17. R

    Am I gone?

I didn't write the B parts on the front (become so accustomed to ignoring it for other papers :| ) , although I specified on the first page. However if you addressed parts of the question in your answer they should have a fairly good idea which one you're answering and shouldn't mark you down.

    Names on Multi Choice

Hmm yeah I was wondering about that too, during the business studies exam the supervisors hadn't noticed this and had them all screwed up, luckily we realised there were names on them so we rectified the problem.. Would've sucked if we didn't though considering the dumbest person in the class...

    Biggest Distraction During The Examz!!

Well if you find a way to relieve the stress of the exam, why not abuse it? I'll try that next time ant.

    Biggest Distraction During The Examz!!

So far I've had no distractions apart from some fuckhead using some kind of industrial arts loud ass equipment at some point, but today there was like a fucking possum or some kind of large creature scratching around in the roof for a good 10 minutes right above me during the legal studies exam...
