    What time did u check

Well.. I got mine about 3.. (in the afternoon). Was going to wait for the mail, or at least until tomorrow, but... my friends and family and my curiosity got the better of me...

    Ext 2 English!!!

I understand how the people who got really varied internal/external marks feel... i got 47 external, 39 internal, so 43. Kind of annoyed.. but i guess my internal marks were never good... still. Congratulations to everyone who got between 47 and 50, thats excellent!

    Policies Implemented to Help Issues

I've got another question.... Can we refer to the RBA as part of the government? I know they are part of macroeconomic policy, but I have some memory of them being an independant body without political affiliation? Is this true?

    Twin deficits theory

Oh ok- yeah thats what I thought. That "banana republic" quote is so good- it can be put in almost any essay concerning Australia

    Policies Implemented to Help Issues

ooohh ok now I get it. Thanks!

    Policies Implemented to Help Issues

haha thanks- but I don't understand that either! I can't believe the exam is tomorrow...

    Twin deficits theory

I don't understand.. isn't most of the CAD due to private debt, not government? How does a rise in public sector saving reduce the CAD? Or is this theory not specificaly related to Australia?

    Policies Implemented to Help Issues

What government policy can address the CAD? I didn't think that they could.. but I found something that said that it can do something about it... in one of the other threads I think.

    m/c question..... quite hard

I think its c Its not b, because an increased demand for Aus. exports won't decrease the amount of imports to Aus.

Section II - National Study / Personality

Mmm.. I didn't quite go that far. My last line was "In 1945 the Germans surrendered." Maybe I put a date in, but I don't remember. Why did they only give us two four page booklets for this? I don't understand. It's so annoying having to ask for extra booklets- (but kind of nice at the same time...

    Modern History Exam Thoughts (merged)

Yeah I said exactly the same thing- thats reassuring!! For me, at least. My source analysis is usually about a 9/10, but I don't really trust myself until I get the mark back.

    Modern History Exam Thoughts (merged)

Yeah I used two booklets for Germany, and pretty much same stuff plus "The Jewish community" (man it takes up so much time to call them that, damn key groups)- did you all get the four page essay booklets for Germany?? We did- weird. Indochina was 8, but Germany 4.. i spose theyre ten marks...

    Modern History Exam Thoughts (merged)

I did the same haha. I got most of my quotes, but not all my points for Indochina- I only got two paragraphs on the end, and about a four line conclusion.

    Modern History Exam Thoughts (merged)

It was not bad- WW1 was a bit of a shock with the Somme, but I think I did ok- I hope I did ok! And I screwed up my time, but I'm really good at that, so it seems- and only by a couple of minutes. Totalitarian Germany! That was not bad, and Indochina, yeah good. Speer was great. Actually, now...

Section III, IV - Historical Periods

Haha I'm the same as you exactly. Sadly, I hadn't studied much for the Hyksos- I had to do that question though, because Delian League is my strong point- and i had to make the expulsion of the Hyksos into an essay about how it made women prominent and how the military technology from fighting...

    General Thoughts: Ancient History 2005

The exam was.... ok. Hatshepsut: Hatshepsuts religious beliefs?? "Um, she believed in Amun?" It's not like you can say she actually believed Amun was her father.. Sparta was ok, but the two historical periods.. I had Greece 500-440, and New Kingdom Egypt to Thutmose IV- and both my questions...

    Individual in Society

I'm wondering what anachronistic means too..

    Individual in Society

I did letters too- I did Nora's children. But the picture!! That was unfair for Individual and Society- and bizarre- why would the BOS give a picture that gives the other two modules an advantage? And "a significant moment"- that was weird. I mean, I love the creative section, but it was a weird...

Greece 500-400BC - What has evryone leant??

yeh I'm kinda in the same situation- Delian League/ Athenian empire is my strong point- my only point really. (and for the Persian Wars theres also Sestos- making 7 battles, but Sestos is sort of minor). And even though there's four questions... my other period is Egypt- which I also kinda...

    Extension English people

I'm just going for ideas- one based around characters from a prescribed text, and the other just a generic story.. if they ask a question where you are the composer of a text, then I'm just going to adapt the values and things from my essay. There's too much they can ask and I'm waaay too lazy...
