yeh except for accelerators the rest was simple, just identify and describe and simple calculations
i just talked about how accelerators make conditions like just after the big bang, and fundamental particles so we can study em. then talked about teh standard model. at the end i threw in a...
i reckon the magnets and number of coils would have been enough, i made a crappy little motor with like 10 turns copper and a magnet i found lying around my house and it worked fine. i just put no power source, coils not joined to commutator and coils wound around wrong axis so the forces on...
conservation of energy was where the motor acted like a generator and made current whos magnetic field opposed the motion that created them. if the mag field assisted the motion, the extra motion would make stronger mag field which would make more motion.....and so forth. but that cant happen...
I thought it was an awesome exam! I walked out and sent a msg to my friend, 'that was the most enjoyable exam ive ever done'.
not that it was easy, but most of the questions were straightforward, nothing really painful except michael jordan.
Gotta be C
It must be C, cause the cooktop only uses eddy currents. In the motor the squirrel cage opposes the motion that created, and by the conservation law it must make it turn around
