Yeah question 1 doesnt seem that bad, all the stuff for that is on blackboard. The only problem is trying to remember it all. ACFI3140 isnt actually to bad. However I just dont go to the lectures and didnt do much work for it. I think if you stayed on top of it through the year it'd be ok.

didnt do it. How did you do? Had a look at the marks and it seemed there werent many that got real high. Ive only been to 4 lectures for it, did easton say what would be in the exam apart from what was on blackboard. His lecture slides a pretty vague.

Yeah i doing a finance and financial accounting major, wish id done a double degree though with finance and commerce. I havent really looked at the SIA but its structured so you can do it as you work.

Im doing commerce, i changed to part time at the start of the year so now i finish end of next year. Yeah what I sort of meant to say was that grad roles dont require SIA qualifications, however having said that there arent a huge amount of grad roles in investment/trading and to get those roles...

Most of the banking/finance graduate roles close really early around feb and april so most of them arent listed anymore. Alot of the accounting grad roles also close about april. Also talking about banks have you had a look a the commonwealth bank I pretty sure they have a finance vacation...

Not sure but im pretty sure there is no tutorial work or tutorial next week, i think they start week 3. The tutorials arent compulsory to go to you dont get a tutorial mark for them.

Cyph did you do 3140 last year? I have a friend who failed and is doing it again, he said the lecturer (Joe Winson i think he's name is) failed 50% of the class. Dunno if it was true or not, the class didnt seem that big.

if its steve easton you dont really have to worry about reading the book, just memorise all the tutorial questions. In all the exams he just takes the exam questions directly from the tutorials.

i'd help but i fell asleep about 15 minutes into it. Good to see easton's teaching ability has improved heaps.

ha ha do you have neil for 2080, we had steve easton last year he wasnt much better. Anyone doing financial planning i think neil does that aswell

Hi was wondering if someone could please help me with a problem i am having 10.40 = [(p)(10.8160) + (1-p)(10)]/1.015 I know the answer is p = 0.6814 and 1-p = 0.3186, however i dont know how they got this. Thanks in advance celcast

yeah put it onto a cd, but the files 798. It skipped a huge amount of the movie. Is it possible to split the file over two cds or something?

sorry not quite sure what you mean. but when i mount the image through Daemon tools i can play it in windows media player - it brings up an additonal F drive with 'Unknown video cd' in it. it also brings up an additional drive under my computer when i mount the image in the drive 4 folders...
