    for r 10A i made y the subject and found the unshaded area and minused it by the area of the triangle, to get the shaded area. i think it's right. for 10B i proved the trianlges were similar, and then used the corresponding sides are equal to rule to find the top side for the top triangle...

    If you talked about the king lear thoroughly enough you'll be fine... to get those A's you need to thoroughly talk about the techniques so don't worry you'll be fine :D

    I should've done the memoir, but i barely had time left and didn't think so i just took a gut reaction and did the story about a lady who thinks she got cancer and her and her daughter are going to the doctor and her daughter is like the brave one pushing her mum and her mum is super pessimistic...

    use of '&' in the hsc..

    When your in the exam room you hardly think about whether to write AND or & and usually you go with your gut instinct to save time and write &.. true it's not hard to wirte & but your not gunna sit there and think about it... i worte using & i don't see the big deal though

    Ranking effect???

    Just wondering if i came 2nd in my class by 1 mark (let's say...i got 92 and first got 93) although in the HSC i get a mark of 94 (actual raw exam mark) and they get a mark of around 90.. would i end up getting the higher mark or will it even off or will they end up getting the higher mark...
