from what i remember, not even the regular (non-higher) comp courses gave ranks last year...

actually with Comp Sci there's no compulsory science courses so its just 2 compulsory math subjects (maths 1A and 1B) then all programming + 2 General Education (if you're not doing a combined degree)

he doesnt post up the lecture slides but the book has something similar to the lecture slides - recommend u to get the txtbk or you can write fast and copy everything on the slides :)

for mine, i had all the attributes - it was over 2/3 A4 pages

Make it up during the easter break :) or at last resort just do past papers, maths papers are 'somewhat' the same every year.

tried the hello world thing & it works.... but ive also tried a c prog that compiles & runs on the uni gcc via putty, but not on my mac arrr.... ive still got no idea wat X[number] is... has any1 finished their COMP2711 assn?... i dont even what it's asking us to do yet... u mean...

what's X11? yeah i'm using a MacOSX, gcc doesnt always work though - esp when programs gets complicated... i get this 'bus error'... thnx
