Which modules/topics generally appear in the HSC?

I don't sorry, physics was the only aurora study day I went to and they constructed the graphs. You can find the info yourself at the bottom of every marking criteria posted by nesa (tells you module, and inquiry question for physics at least) but it won't be in graph form

    How do I even?

We didn't nearly go into enough depth in class for it, so it is definitely what everyone said with exposure being the important part

    UTS Early entry

I’m a little confused about how the system is working in comparison to Newcastle. I was unsure whether I had accepted my offer and ended up on the student admin website where I can view my offer. From here, I can see two options at the bottom on the second half of the first step: accept (to...

    Can I get a 90~ ATAR?

While I did get a tutor for year 12 to get better, in all honesty just at school, year 12 felt easier to get through and was more enjoyable. If you want to improve, then it definitely will take more effort, but moving into year 12 also comes with teachers prioritising you, so you work and...

    Can I get a 90~ ATAR?

My marks won’t be nearly as good as some other peoples here, my school is projecting my hsc score to be mid 80s or so. I got 79 in my trial (bottled mod c hard) and got below 70 in prelims. Everyone improves in year 12, texts are better and advanced is certainly more interesting than standard...

    2024 HSC Chat

Just find an English teacher and ask for a few copies, they usually just have a massive stock of them. My teacher brought like 60 to a lesson (class of 18) and we could take spare booklets at the end. My friend and I took like 12 or something each at the end and I still have most of them

    Extra Writing Booklets

Am I allowed to have like q24a and q27c in the same booklet, or do they need to be separate because the hsc markers only receive specific questions to mark so there should be an associated booklet for each question that extra space was needed?

    Extra Writing Booklets

My teacher was trying to explain how to approach using extra booklets in the exam if you run out of space and I think he explained it pretty poorly and I don't really understand. When should a new booklet be started? For each question (booklet for q28 which might have 3 parts)? or for each...

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

Don't think i'll drop engineering since I might end up doing better in it than in economics so I'm just going to have to grind both. Est hsc mark for physics was a 90 so you'll definitely be higher than that in solid b6 territory. I definitely hope its accurate and that I can even exceed those...

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

96.79 is what they gave me, but I just had a look again and my engineering mark didn't change from the second projection they gave me so it should definitely be lower than what they gave me. estimated indicative atar of ext 1 is 99.4 and ext 2 is 99.6

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

reckon your prediction will be higher than mine though since i bottled economics and engineering

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

got mine back this morning and im happy with mine. Tempted to ask for a prediction myself to see what other people think in comparison to what the schools prediction is

    2024 trials

Do you have any physics or economics trials?

    ATAR Prediction plsplsplspls

Don’t forget that we’re getting projections back soon and you’ll probably have a meeting for it where you can find out what they think you’ll get. Even then, I don’t know how much to trust them so just lock in for hsc and you’ll get above that, trust.

    2024 HSC Chat

I honestly should have just dropped it then I wanted to keep 12 units until trials so I could see what I did worse in and what I wanted to drop as a result. did worse in economics trial but the mark is much more beneficial to my star It is a bit crazy dropping after trials but honestly I'd...

    2024 HSC Chat

I swear engineering is the most teacher dependent class in existence. Good teacher = good marks otherwise you’re kinda screwed unless you dedicate a ridiculous amount of time to it. I’m first in my class, got 73% in my trial (highest mark) and am dropping it because my teacher is useless and I’d...

    internal rankings

Apologies for not having the answer to your question, but I believe that with a gap so small, as long as you still do well you’ll basically get an equivalent mark. I too dropped to second in maths ext 1 (by 0.3%) and physics by a similar small gap, so I’d like clarification too if anyone else...

    2024 HSC Chat

I have an NSB booklet of just AM/GM inequality proofs with solutions which might help see there strategy for questions, but I think it's just trying replacements or working backwards mentally/on spare paper and then going from known statement, making substitution, getting to answer. Most...

    Post Trials

What should I be doing post-trials? I assume mostly focusing on fixing stupid mistakes and just doing more trial papers, but is there anything specifically?
