zhanghsc or sigma science for physics

Yo, I've never seen my name been mentioned backwards, but let me offer u some fresh insights 😙. I'm assuming you're Y11 because you've mentioned the Y11 teachers first of all haha. I think both centres have a lot to offer you, and I know I'm biased towards Sigma but genuinely don't want to take...

    Spectra q.

IIRC, they accepted both answers bc this question was made poorly.

Is Sigma Science Good for Physics?

    That's an exception LMAO

Is Sigma Science Good for Physics?

Anyways, the reason I didn't give my insight is because they wanted it from a former student and obviously I'm biased so I'll leave it to someone else. Feel free to ping me if you have any questions though.

Is Sigma Science Good for Physics?

Ended up deferring the offer haha, still here for another year. Rarely on BoS completely forgot it was in my signature.

Year 10 Preliminary Preparation Course (1 term intensive!)

Hey Guys! Sigma Science is offering a Year 10 Prelim Prep course for students who are currently in Year 10. This course ultimately aims to sum up all of the relevant content in Stage 5 for Physics & Chemistry to equip students to begin the Year 11 course a whole term ahead of school. If you are...

    zhangs vs peak (chem)

I'm not too familar with Zhang's Chemistry but their results are outstanding so they're definitely doing something right. If you live closer to the Parramatta area then ACE, Matrix and Sigma are also options you can consider.

    zhangs vs peak (chem)

Having experience with PEAK during my own HSC year as well as knowing a few of the tutors that work there, I can vouch for them 100%! I'm not really aware of how their classes work irl because I'm only familiar with the online tutoring that was provided, and it was amazing - probably one of the...

for those who got 99+ what did your study pattern look like

I didn't really find it too bad, but I think it was because I was able to partition my study time effectively.

for those who got 99+ what did your study pattern look like

Talent and motivation do not go hand in hand unfortunately.

for those who got 99+ what did your study pattern look like

You don't have to be some innately talented genius with a 2000 IQ to get a 99+ atar. The HSC rewards hard work not talent.

    transformers

yep i agree with the end half, however, overall its a recipe for disaster since Standard Mathematics students are not aware of the cosine and sine function graphs as it is, so honestly, how simple can we really make Mod 6 to cater for this. but definitely i agree with everything you said, it's...

    Burnouts

As a recent grad, I completely resonate with the feeling of burn-out, especially in senior years. I found that, personally, I needed to realise where my limits were and try not to overly exceed them, because the mental struggle with making your way out of burnout is so much worse. After trials...

    transformers

The diagram you showed for the LHS v/t graph is pretty unrealistic for a Year 12 student to recognise because the ending portion of it will not be something that they are familiar with. The content given in the question contain assumptions that are taught to students (as assumptions which are...

    transformers

The graphs for C can be explained as follows: LHS graph: since it is a DC power supply, when the switch is closed, there will be a rise in voltage which plateaus at a maximum value until it returns to when the switch is reopened. The voltage would not oscillate around the 0V mark, since it is a...

    Is Rawmarks database reliable?

It would be pretty silly of me to bring up a mark that had adjustments due to illness 😁 but yeah, just to clear any doubts, the mark didn't have any estimate adjustments added onto it.

    Is Rawmarks database reliable?

Just correcting, the bio marks are from someone else but yeah very confusing.

    Is Rawmarks database reliable?

If I'm not mistaken, there are some errors in maths and bio (chem & phys seem okay mostly maybe 1 or 2 sus ones but yeah). maths seems too strict in some areas and same w bio (bc mid to low 80s is not low 90s aligned in bio).
