    A trial question

Yeah I'd agree. I think they r just trying to test whether people know that thicker spectral lines = more dense star, so have ignored the shift in spectral lines.

    A trial question

Thicker spectral lines = denser star. Masses of giants and supergiants may be 10 to 30 times that of the Sun (main sequence star), but their volumes are often 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 times greater. Thus they are low density stars. So the thicker spectral lines must be the main sequence star...

    structure for external stability essay

Can talk about higher I/R compared to other OECD economies leads to inflow of capital into Australia (higher relative rate of return on investment), increasing debits on the NPY account in the form of dividends and interest repatriations to lenders -> worsened current account position ->...

Best books to go along with textbook?

Awesome, thank you :) I really do prefer the one-on-one teaching style of a private tutor, over a tutoring center so I will probably go with that. I do like to get ahead, I've covered most of the mod 1 content for yr11 already so I'll see how it goes! Thanks for all your help!

Best books to go along with textbook?

Awesome :) Thank you, do you think tutoring is a necessity for year 11? I'm thinking of getting a tutor for physics and maths extension, but not 100% sure if I'll need it for year 11. I guess I'll go through the first term and see how it is without a tutor.

Best books to go along with textbook?

I'm going into year 11 and doing extension maths, and was wondering if there are any study/revision/topic test books worth picking up alongside my textbook? Or if it's just better to stick to learning from your textbook and doing past papers you find online? Thanks!

    Best physics revision/question/practice books?

I'm going to start doing the year 11 physics course this year, and was wondering if anyone had recommendations for study guides/practice books/topic test books which I could use alongside my physics textbook. Recommendations for EXT maths books like this would also be appreciated. Thanks :)

Tutoring - Is It Necessary for the HSC?

If you are doing well and understanding your work in year 11, do you think tutoring on the year 11 syllabus is a waste of time/money?

Tutoring - Is It Necessary for the HSC?

Hey everyone, After talking to a few different people, I have come across a range of different perspectives about if tutoring is necessary in the HSC, especially for those aiming for high ATAR's and doing hard subjects such as ext. math and physics. Is tutoring for these courses really as...

    Subject Selections Help

Hi, I also think I might want to keep 11 units in year 12 but am struggling to see how I could do that. I could drop extension 1 maths, but I am very interested in it and don't think I will want to, and I also need it for the career I would like to do. I could also drop studies of religion 1...

    Subject Selections Help

Hi everyone, I am just seeking some advice regarding my subject selections for year 11 & 12. Currently I am thinking of doing advanced english, extension 1 maths, studies of religion 1, physics, economics and engineering studies for year 11. However, I am a little unsure about engineering...
