Nope, they do get access to raw examination marks i think and maybe the moderated ones too but the atar is purely yours. Many schools like mine actually do a morning tea where they want the students to come back to celebrate everyone's achievements but really they just wanna know our atars smh...
hmmm i mean science is like that subject where even if you feel good after the exam the sort of marking really impacts how you do in all the questions. Hopefully you'll be fine! but yea that was just their opinion when they were talking to us afterwards
talked to our teachers afterwards and they all agreed that the paper was much simpler than last years. Bang 6 is probably not going to change much from previous years so about 78 whilst state rank is probably going to be higher than 95
im not positive about this but i think you get your mark out of 100 if you take 4 units of math but 50 if you only take 3 units. The mark difference between 69 and 70 definitely matters ahaha
right! i was never expecting an 8 mark binomial question, came as a true shock during reading time. I'm not sure about yall but if there was one thing my school teachers and tutor emphasised it was to revise binomial theorem and perms and combs as its probably the hardest part of the stage 6...
ahaha nah, 13c :( ahaha im currently 15 rank at school, my schools top 5 i just hope thats enough to get an overall mark (after scaling and all that) of 98-99
the standard for the hsc is pretty low, have you read the sample answers published by nesa by chance - you'll see what i mean when i say low. For mod c as long as you've stuck to the stimulus and then pretty much abuse every technique you can imagine that belongs to the specific type of writing...
ahaha don't feel like that. This is mostly the product of getting through 6 years of schooling surrounded by extreme over achievers. Good luck for your exams bro
!!! it's nice to see everyone's comments. By no means was this meant to look down on people- just want to clarify that was not the purpose. Atar means literally nothing after this year anyway lol. I probably should have clarified that this may only be like a thing amongst selective school kids idk.
