solid! what makes you think FINS was scaled? I was sitting on 90% pre final and based on some calculations was pretty confident of getting 90% for the final paper as well, ended up with 90 overall.

Nah not 85ish for sure I landed Stage 1 with 84. I know someone who had a WAM of 83.5 as well who made it on the list. Was wondering if majority on the lists are within the 83-85 range with maybe top 2% with 85+ or so?

Just read from ASB's website that the criteria has changed to Top 3% instead of Top 5%. Any idea why they did so and what would be the ~ cut off for Top 3%? What would be the lowest WAM you guys have heard of that made it on ASB Dean's List in recent years? Appreciate all inputs!

Well I emailed Peter after the exam and he said the difficulty of the two semesters has been normalised. He also added that the questions we got in the finals were probably harder than Sem 2. So props to those who still managed a HD though we did it in a harder sem.

I can't guarantee it is without scaling, but I am 95% sure that it wasn't scaled.
