I got my raw marks back for Economics.

Essay 1 - 14.5/20
Essay 2 - 17/20
Raw examination mark 77, aligned to 83. So aligning was pretty terrible for Economics this year, half-explaining why I did worse than I thought, plus I did worse on the...
I'm getting Eco done as well. Eco was my strongest subject, did ten+ past papers and got them marked by my teacher and got between 85-95 raw on them and I felt the exam was reasonably easy and then I get 83. :confused2:

My old school, Tweed River High in Tweed Heads (~630, one of the bottom schools in the state) used to seriously advertise that they were "The top school in the state, geographically".
Going off last year's cutoff I needed 83.80.
Matrix - 86.80, ********* - 88.40, Talent100 - 88.35, AtarCalculator - 88.2, Dux College - 88.65. Going to call Matrix an outlier.
To make everyone feel better about themselves here's mine.
Legal Studies - 90
Business Studies - 89
Economics - 83
and from last year General Maths - 90 and Standard English - 77.
I should be reasonably happy, because that's good enough for what I want but I was expecting higher in Economics...
It is my dream to receive a high enough ATAR to study journalism so that I may publicise issues of global importance such as HSC results and Kim Kardashian's arse.
I would like to make it clear that the Sydney Morning Herald is a publication of the highest quality especially in comparison to the Murdoch tabloid rival which is not to be named.
Shit went down a bit last year so I ended up only doing two subjects in 2013, Standard English and General Maths. I hardly studied for General Maths at all because I was completely focussed on bumping up my mediocre English score because I got an embarrassing 47% on my trial, still ranked first...
I'm applying for Griffith where I get two bonus points for living in the same area, I'm also applying through EAS on S01D, FO1B and PO1A. I wonder how many bonus points I should get?
Lets say someone is by far on top in terms of internal marks in their three subjects (internals around mid 90s) and then there's a big drop off to the next internal (mid-to-late 70s) then an abyss. How does this affect the HSC results?
For example lets say the guy that has done well all year...
Thanks very much, I thought it might've been a bit difficult. When schools starts up again I might talk to them about it.
Honestly I'd be very happy with 80, noone in my family has even finished high school before and I've been told by the school that I should have the full 10 bonus points.
Okay, I was just interested in an ATAR estimation. Now I am doing my HSC over two years (pathways) for medical reasons so this is what I got this year.
School Rank - mid 500s
2013 HSC results
Standard English - 1/5 - 77
General Maths - 1/7 - 90
Those are final HSC marks so I don't...
