    What are your UAC preferences?

Mixed bag, mostly artsy or STEM stuff. You can really tell my confidence in myself regarding my ATAR B Engineering (Honours)(Material Science and Engineering) B Science/B Fine Arts - UNSW B Engineering Honours (Flexible First Year) - USyd B City Planning (Honours) - UNSW B Design in Integrated...

What subjects are you doing for 2014?

*points to signature* Hopefully my maths won't suck balls and I'll be able to pick up MX2. Any computer/electrical engineering degree in any uni works.

    What's your politics?

More or less centrist (more progressive, sort of liberal) I'd vote for neither of the main two parties, and I'd vote for the Greens.

How strict are your schools on choosing a subject?

The current school I'm going to (but not during year 11-12, since I'm moving elsewhere) are pretty strict. I think it was only the top quarter of the year group in English at the moment are "allowed" to undertake Advanced English. Though it's more of an extremely heavy "recommendation", as...

How content heavy are these subjects?

I see. I tend to have problems with more or less subjective subjects and to do better in more objective stuff, like maths. I'll assume history is more or less in between those.

When will HSC be done on the computer?

I tend to have a mental blank whenever I do essays on the computer, so pen and paper is a must for me. If they do make the switch, maybe a test in the form of a program rather than a webpage would be a lot better (otherwise, we have people opening tabs to look up stuff lol)

    Improving English ?

Make sure you really nail your essay writing structure and analysis skills (throw in some books to further your vocabulary). At the moment I'm doing that too, since I'm pretty much in the same boat as you.

How content heavy are these subjects?

Hmm, I don't do legal studies. Thanks for the insight, man I'm pumped for Ancient History, it's probably one of my favourite subjects in my school life. (Also, I did a typo, that should read as "I may be dropping English Extension," not MX1.)

How content heavy are these subjects?

Thanks for the info. I'm just afraid I won't last prelim year because of content heavy subjects, though I enjoy all (but Business Studies; it seems really dull) I figured that I may drop IPT and/or Business studies (maybe MX1 as well, since my English is quite weak [however, crime...

How content heavy are these subjects?

I've already confirmed my subjects, but I didn't realise I picked 14 units. So I would like someone to tell me how content heavy these subjects are and possibly what kind of "heavy" it is (ie: essays, research papers etc.) - SOR II (SOR's compulsory :( ) - English Extension I - Ancient...
