Also, you need to really get your head around OIL RIG to understand the difference between a Galvanic and Electrolytic cell.
(If you do Shipwrecks for option...that screws you up big time..)
Since this is the sciences thread, I thought I'd share some useful advice for the two sciences I do...
Chemistry: OIL RIG
Physics: PET CAT (Option topic)
These are the concepts people usually get mixed up....OIL with RIG and PET with CAT.......that's my advice....make sure you know which is...
English- 0.5 (kinda did some of it)
Maths 2U- 5.5
Maths X1- 0
SDD- 0.5
Physics- 0
Chemistry- 0
And despite doing only 2 unit maths past papers...I did horrible in it...
(My HSC is pretty much f****d...)
So these two are my last exams...and I really need to get Band 6's in these two if I am to have any shot at my ATAR aim of 92.
So what tips can people give me for these two subjects? (even though I only expect about 2 people to reply to this thread.)
Go through book or do past papers?
How are...
I'm ranked 4th in Extension and 6th in 2unit.
The 2 guys beating me in 2unit most probs got higher than me in Extension today...so that should kinda drag me up.....
Well I honestly can't be bothered.
Sorry. But I have felt very depressed since that test. I really felt like I should've done better.
And there's no worse feeling during the HSC than REGRET...
So I expected to get 35/70 in this.
But after coming out of the exam, my friend tells me how I got Q1 wrong...
So now, I expect to get 27/70.
My question is: what would that scale up to?
^ This.
There was nothing special about the MCQs....they were as you'd expect them.
The option (relationship hardware/software) was the REAL challenge in that paper. Most (almost all) people in my class failed in Section III
