Would someone be able to read my mini essay for Ancient History?

The question is "What does the evidence suggest about the death of the emperor Claudius?". Its 600 words and its a short essay but our teacher told us to write a mini essay... Would be much appreciated :)

Need help, really need help because i'm very confused

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but are you saying you are attempting to complete both the Preliminary and HSC course in two terms?

Need help, really need help because i'm very confused

Preliminary course? Aren't you doing the HSC at the moment? And I don't know how your school works, but you don't have to pick up 2 more units if you don't want to. You can undertake 10 units of work for the HSC, but the marks you achieve will all be counted towards your ATAR.

Year 11 2013 Chit Chat Thread

I feel so guilty... I was on top of everything at school... And then last weekend... I got introduced to Fifty Shades of Grey / Darker / Freed and fell behind. Now I'm here late at night leaving things for the last minute while reminiscing the heaven and perfection which was Anastasia and...

    Please! Freaking out

I don't do Maths but I know for a fact that Math Extension 2 scales like a monster. So even if you get an underwhelming score like 60-70 (correct me if I'm wrong), your marks will be brought up. But since you seem to like Maths, go for it :)

Do you get home from school and study until you go to sleep? Because that's what it sounds like to me o_O

Sometimes I have 3 or 4 lessons each day but I always have 3 subjects everyday. Some are doubles, what about you?

Year 11 2013 Chit Chat Thread

I'm not liking it, our teacher doesn't teach us anything. He tell us to research "The World at the Turn of the 20th Century", and does not even help us. He believes that students should be able to teach themselves... It may sound kind of true, but no one could be bothered to wait 20 minutes...

Me too, but only cause I'm doing Portuguese by correspondence and English Ext is off the time timetable :)

Year 11 2013 Chit Chat Thread

No initial shock for me, just an increase in the amount of homework and content difficulty. But so far, it's heaps of fun! What is everyone doing for English Ext? We just started gothic horror literature, and it seems very promising :D

How did everyones first week go???

Good, only that I cannot drop Hospitality for Portuguese until 6 weeks have passed, so I'm stuck with 14 units until then..
  14. tonynho

    Changing Subjects?

You might as well say goodbye to a good ATAR if you drop to Standard English.

stuggling with my year 11 electives

I agree with Amaranth, you would definitely benefit from English Ext 1.

    Who's ready for year 11?

Loving how the year is panning out. Plenty of double history periods to devour on and 12 free periods over a fortnight :D

    Who's ready for year 11?

    Who else starts Thursday?

    Online Education??? Worth it?

Go for it, but remember it will be challenging and that you'll have to teach yourself most of the time.

    Who's ready for year 11?

It would've been great if seniors were able to get their timetables earlier by email. Otherwise, I wouldn't sit here for the last three days shaking!!!!

Which subjects should I drop (and pick up) in year 12?

Many thanks for the input guys! Will definitely think of picking up SOR2 even if it helps in the least :)
