Forgive me if I'm wrong, but are you saying you are attempting to complete both the Preliminary and HSC course in two terms?

Preliminary course? Aren't you doing the HSC at the moment? And I don't know how your school works, but you don't have to pick up 2 more units if you don't want to. You can undertake 10 units of work for the HSC, but the marks you achieve will all be counted towards your ATAR.

I don't do Maths but I know for a fact that Math Extension 2 scales like a monster. So even if you get an underwhelming score like 60-70 (correct me if I'm wrong), your marks will be brought up. But since you seem to like Maths, go for it :)

Do you get home from school and study until you go to sleep? Because that's what it sounds like to me o_O

Sometimes I have 3 or 4 lessons each day but I always have 3 subjects everyday. Some are doubles, what about you?

I'm not liking it, our teacher doesn't teach us anything. He tell us to research "The World at the Turn of the 20th Century", and does not even help us. He believes that students should be able to teach themselves... It may sound kind of true, but no one could be bothered to wait 20 minutes...

Me too, but only cause I'm doing Portuguese by correspondence and English Ext is off the time timetable :)

No initial shock for me, just an increase in the amount of homework and content difficulty. But so far, it's heaps of fun! What is everyone doing for English Ext? We just started gothic horror literature, and it seems very promising :D

I agree with Amaranth, you would definitely benefit from English Ext 1.

Go for it, but remember it will be challenging and that you'll have to teach yourself most of the time.

It would've been great if seniors were able to get their timetables earlier by email. Otherwise, I wouldn't sit here for the last three days shaking!!!!
