Yep - log on to the RF Gun with your ID and Password. Then press 5, then 1, then 5. It will then prompt you to scan a printer. Grab a printer, and scan the top barcode on the printer (make sure the printer is on first). If you are marking a variety of items down by a certain percentage (e.g...

Hi, I'm guessing that you're either on a full-time or part-time contract. All stores in Australia are closed on Christmas Day (I'm pretty sure). Therefore, you will only receive your ordinary rate for this day. However, for Boxing Day - if you work your shift on the day, you will receive...

If the register is under in the Cheque value, that would mean that a cheque was not processed by the operator on that register, but by the SSA who put it through under that register. The register would be over in the Cheque value, as the cheque has been sent up, but not processed by the SSA...

Hi, This would most definitely be an error that the office has made. It would have been a cheque that was not processed by the SSA in the pickups. Hope this clears things up, oldmanjoe

Junior rates do not apply to Grade 3 or above rates - you will be paid ADULT rates for the time that you perform higher duties. And in my store, the only attendants we have are Dept Managers and a Duty Manager. No harm in asking though! :)

Wear a white dress shirt, black dress pants and smart black shoes. A uniform (polo) will be provided to you at the company's leisure. This can take from your first shift up to 2 months (a coworker of mine experienced this) Hope this helped, and welcome to the Woolies family!

Tell your SSO or whoever processes your pay in the Cash Office - we all received a memo regarding public holidays and People Planner flagging. I'd say you'd get paid the 250% on the Saturday, and ordinary rates for the Monday.

I was under the impression that it was going to be processed as usual. I think it relies on the bank that you're with as to how quickly it is deposited into your account, however.

Checkouts are good - just make sure you keep busy when there are no customers, or else you'll get bored pretty easily. Accept extra shifts whenever you can - they'll keep calling you if you do. Deli is great, there is always something to do or something to clean.

Yeah yeah, that's what I meant :P Why would they be different? Is it Victorian legislation? In TAS, all public holidays are paid at the same rate. Not me :(

Hey - I've been reading this thread for a couple of months, and registered just so I can engage in this discussion :D I've read a lot of the thread, but I'll introduce myself here. I'm a 15yr Woolworthian. I've got a Supervisor ID in the Service department and I'm a Cash Office Assistant...
