Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016 The formulas for the standard deviation and variance are in a couple of the lecture slides, but we never ever used them. I've got no idea why they would include them in the formula sheet though.

Urgh, why is MGMT1001 such a WAM killer? It's such a stupid course. Is anyone else's WAM dropping? Mine has been dropping steadily the last few semesters. :(

Ikr! I've never walked out of the examm feeling that rekt. MGMT1001 is such a bullshit course. Btw, does MGMT1001 get scaled?

I found it decent. Heaps of the questions were copy and pasted from the workshops, seminars and PASS classes. The only problem was the first question on relevance and verifiability worth 10 MARKS!!! That question made no sense. I bullshitted so much for it.

The lecturer said they won't be giving the list of topics this semester. He just told us to study for every topic. I hate this subject. :(

Hi. How do you study for MGMT1001? The final exam is next Monday and I haven't studied for it at all. It is such a bullshit course so I have no idea what and how to study for it. Thanks.

I thought that it was pretty hard. Also, since when was there so much theory in a PHYS exam?

Yeah, I'm finding the past papers pretty challenging. Some of the formulas they used in the solutions came out of nowhere or it's a random one we saw in the lectures that isn't on the formula sheet.

I think it's because the MAPLE Notes were only included in the first semester course pack.

I think that's because not many people do COMP1911. Also, it's because most, if not all, people will pass as the first few questions were extremely easy, although the last two were extremely challenging.

I was in one of the CSE labs at the Old Main Building - I forgot the name. Did anyone manage to get Q6 or Q7?

We couldn't keep the paper because the answer pages were in the same booklet. Why couldn't the Faculty of Physics separated the questions and answers? I was so annoying having to continuously turn the pages to refer back to the question.
