What about personal illness? Or is 10 points mostly for financial disadvantage? Has anyone gotten into law at uts with an 87?

    Repeating the HSC?

Thankyou for that! Although there were not any deaths or tragedies, I did miss a lot of school and I got very emotional throughout the year because of personal issues and such. On top of that, I have severe anxiety, which I'm trying to manage atm.

    Repeating the HSC?

I have no idea, but pretty sure I came last in the chemistry trial sooo it's not a great rank at all. + my class isn't very strong so it's all messed up.

    Repeating the HSC?

Yes, but the problem is not getting into uni at all.

    Repeating the HSC?

I completely bombed out in my trial exams. Prior to them, I was top 3 in all my subjects and then... Some literal fails, like ~50% in the trials. I attend a mid 200s school as well Is it worthwhile repeating the HSC? Really don't know what to do.

how did everyone find the 10 marker? I'm always stuck for time ! :L

    Screwed up my life

Yes, I would think so. As long as you are middle ranked and not near the end, it is always possible to pull up from middle to top if you put in a considerable amount of effort. Good luck!

    EIS points

Hey, If someone were eligible for EAS points on their ATAR does that mean if a person got 90 they can get into a 95-99.95 course? (Except med and law ofc) and if this is true, if they wanted to transfer to another course in uni because they didn't like the one they chose are these EIS points...

    Careers in Chemistry

I didn't do HSC maths, but I did the preliminary ext 1 course for Mathematics. I really love chemistry, it's my favourite class- if I could study that all day and nothing else omggshh. SO, my question is what good jobs are there in Chemistry and will not doing the HSC Mathematics course...

    estimate please :)

Do you go to SMSHS? Yes, well sciences can pull someone up. I suck at maths but I am good at science, it's shame they couldn't go hand in hand :L You don't need to do MX2 to be classified as 'smart' ...

Last year the dux got 98.75 or something in the 98s Year before was 99.90. Low 99s because of school rank? Yea, I'm hoping but we can only see what happens come real HSC. Is there anywhere you can find out what was the top mark in each subject over the years?
  16. H

    estimate please :)

Yea, I did the calculator but I didn't know what the school rank would incur. Lol well idk, all my teachers are HSC markers so I'd hope they're aligned properly :) I think the bio one may need some tweaking but I've never really lost a mark in va since I've started high school and modern is...

    Exam provisions

Would it hinder your ATAR at all though?
  19. H

    Exam provisions

Was just wondering, can someone apply for special exam provisions like a writer is their handwriting is illegible and/or they have very thin, weak wrists preventing them to write an adequate amount of writing and finish the exam?

Graduate medicine with these undergraduate degrees?

Yeah, I'm not really thinking 'backup'.. It's just exploring other avenues before entering a very intense course. Psychology is 4yrs full time and dietetics is 5yrs. I think dietetics would be better seeing as it provides 2 degrees with only an additional year? Apparently med science doesn't...
