Unfortunately my school rank is about 500. Half yearly results: Advanced English 17/42 Chemistry 2/12 Engineering studies 1/9 Mx1 5/22 Mx2 5/11 Biology 1/30 Biology HSC done in 2014, received HSC mark of 84...

Some vacancies do occur and can be quite early in semester 1, like in week 5. The food at teds is not great but not sure about IH.

Out of over 17,000 only 6% of students got a Band 6 this year, this is much lower than usual. Total of students receiving a Band 6 in bio are usually higher than chem and physics.

Re: Did poorly in engineering exam Yeah I managed too, did what I could confidently then went back through and answered what I left. I was so shocked cause of how different it was to what I'd prepared for.

Re: Did poorly in engineering exam I even managed to get a hold of the answers for the specimen paper from my teacher, studied fairly hard and was hoping for a band 5-6. Coming first in my class and think ill get a raw mark of probably 60 or less in that exam.

Yeah I was thinking the same that if everyone had some trouble we would be levelled out somewhat, I'm thinking around the same probably 60.

Thought it was rather different/difficult in comparison to past papers and the 2013 sample paper?
