Medical science is probably not a great idea at USyd at the moment because USyd fired heaps of staff and such and majority are from the science faculty so yeah... I was doing Medical Science at USyd in semester 1 of this year and i really didn't like it because there were no flexibility or such...

That's a really good timetable compared to what i received from USyd as my semester 2 : had minimum 4hrs everyday but my thursday was 9hrs straight from 8am to 5pm so i'd so say yours is really good HAHAHA Thank lord im out of USyd now (: UNSW FTW!

I'm not sure about USyd but for UNSW you can do finance and actuarial by doing a double major with a commerce single degree. Although your commerce degree might be extended to longer than 3years to complete. Also if you do Actuarial Studies at UNSW which opens next year then i believe you can't...

Awesomeness! So if i know i don't want honours then do i tell UNSW that soon? lol What's the difference between honours and no honours when i look for a job to become an investment banker? Does the level of maths i complete matter?

I just read over the handbook again and found out that out of those 5 years i had a compulsory honours year to complete as well If i don't want honours in maths then would that mean i would go down to Comm/Sci(Maths)? and If so will I still be able to do Finance/Stats with MATH1151 and 1251?

so you're saying i should go down to Comm/Sci and do 1131 and 1231 and get high GPA and get back into Comm/Sci(adv maths)? OR are you talking specifically about my WAM for the specific maths subject? e.g. if i'm doing MATH1131 and 1231 instead of 1141 and 1241 then i should be getting WAM of 80...

It says on the study plan thingo that Finance/QR goes with MATH1151,1251 and in 2nd year ACTL2001. IF i do QR over stats then I'm probably going to have to follow that plan to at least keep up with what everyone else knows, right? And yes, if i do Finance/Stats then i can do MATH1141/1241. Also...
