Official: 2013 Modern History HSC Exam predictions thread

    if english wasn't compulsory

I think most of the advanced students will and of course the 3u and 4u students. I know I deffs will but that being said English is by far my favourite subject. I doubt any of the standard kids would do it because all of the people who do standard that I personally know would want to drop...

Who felt more prepared for trials?

Me too!! Speeches was by far the scariest module and the bos decided to troll us by not specifying ... Which was good but making us study all the speeches for nothing was torture

    Module B- Speeches

What do you guys think of the fact that due to the revision of the syllabus they took out Keating's speech for 2015-20 students? http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/pdf_doc/eng-adv-mod-b-speeches.pdf Would this mean less chance for it to be Keating or more chance to make it more...

    Speeches Predictions?

I REALLY hope its Atwood. But it was in the Catholic trial paper so they may have gone with someone else. It could be Keating or Deane though, cause they link well together and they might want us to use them... For some reason I don't think it would be Pearson.

    Is This Suicide?

Deffs not! I originally did 15 units (bahaha, that's what I call suicide) and dropped down to 11 units, with extension history being my 11th. However, if you're doing lots of major works for HSC I would not recommend picking up this subject as the personal interest project in history extension...

    Genre Theory ??

Hi! For Extension we're doing crime writing and my teacher never talked about genre or genre theory but straight away launched into crime and crime conventions. I had a 10 mins tutorial speech assessment coming up and I was wondering if I should use genre theory in it even though my teacher...

subject selection for year 11 2014

I also did 15 units throughout year 11 that I was completely certain I'd keep in year 12 (then stress happened and I dropped down to 11). Your subjects look good to me, as long as you like them and are happy with them. Seriously. Pick subjects you enjoy! If you don't enjoy science or something...
