Incorrect. You do not need a credit/distinction for the the GAMSAT (whatever the hell that means). If you're are trying to articulate that you would need AT LEAST a credit/distinction average in your undergraduate degree to be competitive, then yes, that is correct.

I personally know a uws law graduate and her husband who is a uts graduate, both of which can't find jobs. Husband's brother is a macq law graduate and still can't find a job. This means there MUST be a 'filter system'. Do you see how easy that was?

No one here has mentioned anything even remotely close to 'relying on prestige as the be all and end all' on the way to getting a job. But it would be disingenuous to tell someone that no consideration should be given to a universities prestige. Remember, prestige didn't come out of thing air...

What would be the cons of going to a more 'prestigious' university? Logically you'd think that even a small positive difference would be worth it, seeing as though you're not losing anything by going to the more prestigious university.

That is 149 weighted. So 1:1:0.5 ratio of section scores. Example: s1:60 s2:62 s3:54 = total score of 176 which equals weighted score of 149.

Well that's different. You said you guessed 20 so as you can see that's like completing only 21-22 questions out of 42. But ye that's good. Did you end up figuring out the elephant question or the skeleton 'like' question?

Some universities have a 50-50-50 barrier you must meet. Besides that, your 'less than 50 mark' in one section will only hinder your final percentile in the way any low mark will reduce the mean score.

Before the time finished, how many questions did you end up guessing in s3 because of time constraints?
