    Psychology Honours - ATAR??

Ditto what -may-cat says. The Hons bit in the title just means it's set up as a 4 yr degree, but wherever you go and whatever major route in Psych you take you need the same GPA (or WAM, whatever) to get into Hons. Some places have a quota on Hons (USyd I think for example) so you don't actually...

Which would you pick: http://www.topuniversities.com/university-rankings/university-subject-rankings/2013/psychology If you are worried about workplace ratings, register and log in to the topuniversities site (free) and look at the employer reputation survey of Psych at UNSW. It is the highest...

Is there much difference between bachelor of psychology and bachelor of psychological

Re: Is there much difference between bachelor of psychology and bachelor of psycholog You can do majors from Business and Arts as well as Science in the BPsycholSci; there are also more people on the BPsycholSci than BPsych, so the difference may not be popularity - but rather to do with...

People who studied psychology.. please look

Here's the deal. If you want to do clinical psych you need an APAC (acting for the Psychology Board of Australia) accredited Honours degree. This will allow you (subject to getting on the course) either on to a Masters or doctorate in Clin Psych, which will take 2-3 years, followed by 2 or 1...

    Psychology Degree Questions

Sure thing if you want to believe research ratings that are based on international academics being able to name universities in Australia as a big chunk of their rating process. That's why UNSW did better than USyd in Australian ERA ratings based on metrics of research rather than memory games...

    B.psych or b.commerce/science?

No prioritization for different degrees for entry into Psych Hons at UNSW - it's just the mark you get in PSYCH subjects across L1-3 (>75 and you're in)

What majors do I do with Psychological Science?

You do Psyc1A (PSYC1001) in Session 1, Psyc1B (PSYC1011) in session 2. That starts of the Psych 'major' bit (not really a major - it's the core of the degree program). That's 2 courses of the 8 you do in first year (4 in each semester). The other 6 courses are up to you. You can choose (but...

    B.psych or b.commerce/science?

Makes no difference which degree you came through wrt getting into Honours at UNSW - you just need to have an average >75 in Psych subjects across years 1-3. So move to Commerce/Science if that suits.

    Psychology questions!

Actually last year ATAR for BPsych at UNSW was higher than USyd. Neuropsych (as a profession) is a specialist Masters that requires Hons Psych first. MAQU does it.

    Whats Psychology like at Macq?

Do BPsychSci at UNSW - it's similar to BPsych and the ATAR last year was about 87.

    Psychology: USyd, UNSW or MacU?

Well, UNSW, by any stretch. Best at science, most grants etc., best lecturers, <2000 in a lecture in first year (check USyd), no quota on honours (but a pretty tough threshold to get in), most flexible course (BPsychSc), highest ATAR for the BPsych, but options in BPsychSci and BSc. MAQ isn't...
