I've found three unit mathematics enormously helpful for my two unit.
Even though I'm not above the 70% mark for my three unit, my two unit improved over 10% and I have come out on top of all the kids doing just two unit - I think you'll find the extra maths worth it... :)
Re: Different types of cut-offs - and how to use ATAR to apply for QTAC (as well as U
Thanks heaps for the quick reply.
I was looking at the QTAC site for a fair while and wasn't able to find this, so thanks, it was pretty helpful.
:)
Hi, so I'm a little stuck.
I know that in NSW (where I live), universities have their cut-off marks/ranks in the form of the ATAR (unless the course wants UMAT or something like that).
But as well as applying for universities in NSW through UAC, I want to give myself more chance for acceptance...
i'm not an expert as to what textbook to use, but study tips depend on your individual learning style.
what i did for prelim chem nearing to the exam was to get a cardboard A3 sheet and write everything i had learned onto it (really summarized so i only used the one paper with small writing)...
And if so, which one(s) would you recommend?
(I'm not talking textbooks here, JUST study guides?
e.g. excel, macquarie, dot point, etc.
Opinions please, because i want to know if there are other resources besides past papers.
The textbook, workbook and study guide of Creative Economics were all given to me to look at and i was wondering whether they are worth buying?
A teacher from a different school to mine told me that some of his students found it helpful and does anybody else thinks so?
I know this may sound a little weird, but i can find cleaning my room really well (vacuuming etc) can be really good for stress.
i don't know about you but my room is not always very neat so when i take the time to clean it: yeah it's hard and boring to start off with but the finished result...
I know what you mean about being hard to follow, i've tried before. I'm gonna make sure i can be flexible with the timetable.
And i know, i will definetly be making myself get enough sleep.
Hi and welcome to the profile of simadine1 :)
Wishing everyone the best in their studies/etc and really hope that i myself can achieve what i want out of this year
