Being able to drive and being able to get a good ATAR are two different abilities. I'm sure failing your P's test doesn't mean you won't do well in the HSC. Think positive! Good luck with everything. :)

Oh I see! I guess they only offer 4 of the 8 courses in Semester 1 then since I couldn't seem to search up the other courses... :s

Yeah, that's the only courses I could search up! Hahah

But btw, do they set the 4 courses you will have to do first or can you choose? (Maybe that's why I can only search up four out of the eight courses listed? :s)

Hey everyone, I'm trying to enrol into courses and looking at the UNSW Handbook for Optometry, I typed in all the codes for the courses in stage 1 but the search could only find 4 of the courses for my to enrol in. Is there something I don't know? I'm so confused... Thanks for any help!

Oh goodness, thanks for the help guys! I just woke up so read it too quickly. Ahaha! I put Optom (1st pref) and if this site is legit, then yay! :D

I put in uac number, postcode, date of birth and the uac code of my first two preferences but still get the "Not all the required fields were completed" message. I got a 95+ atar and the AAA scholarship too. :(

Oh, I see! Hahah, Law seems to be the popular option with AAA.

Are you trying to get into Optom with AAA as well? :D

Ohh, I see. Hahah, woww so many got ATAR boosts in your year! So much of taking Optom out of the HSC Plus scheme - students still get bonus points somehow. Anyway, thanks for your help! I'll look into the alternative pathways.

But won't the AAA scholarship change things? 5 bonus points (i.e my atar is then considered as 99.95) and a "guaranteed" spot in any course, except Med, as long as I meet additional criteria (UMAT). I'm just not sure what UMAT would be considered as acceptable. :s

Hoping to get some opinions here... I am hopeful for a chance in B Optometry/B Science at UNSW and I have also received the AAA scholarship this year. I ended up with an ATAR of 95+ so that doesn't worry me too much but I didn't do too well for my UMAT (I only managed 56 percentile/156/52 raw)...
