A Value for Money Tutor in North Shore for Ancient,Modern, Ext, Eco and Eng!!!

Oops! Haven't checked this BoS account for ages... I probably won't return to checking this BoS account either ~~~ There's been a lot of interest and a lot of emails, so I am really sorry to those emails that I haven't managed to reply or replied super super late. I am still able to tutor...

going overseas for a holiday during Easter break?

I did. Nothing wrong. A few people in my school did too and one of them went for 3 weeks but still ended up with a Premier's Award. He didn't do any Maths though... It'll probably be more helpful if you do Maths, to bring a Maths textbook rather than a text for English as you suggested.

    Do Extension 2 English

This. Plus, you could always get your tutor or get someone to check it before you submit. I heard (a while ago) that some PLC girls had a tutor (who was teaching HSC) write it for them...

    Do Extension 2 English

But EE2 has no exams, so if you put in some effort you can be guaranteed good marks.

    Do Extension 2 English

Yes do Hist Ext. It's easy. I only put 5 days into my Major Work and ended up with 39/40 losing marks only for the recording journal or whatever. You've just got to be prepared to bs but for Eng students it should b easy. Hist Ext major work counts for nrly everything. I got the lowest marks for...

    Be warned!

True True!!! I burnt out in the last holiday till the HSC exams. I ended up studying only 3 days in the holidays!!! If I hadn't burnt out, I may have gotten two state-ranks (missed by 1 mark each) which I aimed for after trying and doing so well in internals. SO iits not worth burning...

0.2 under cutoff - chances of 2nd round?

As I've told you before, pretty low. There are quite a few people with 99.95 wishing to change to commerce after the 1st round. Apparently the second round cut-off was 99.95, so we'd have to be lucky this year if we get a spot. Just because someone drops out, doesn't mean the spot will be offered.

Which Library/ies Did People Doing Ext Go To?

Most people here seem to be forgetting about Fisher Library in USyd. I only used Fisher Library for my major work (mine was Ancient Hist though) - you can't borrow unless you register for $25 though.

The Scarlet Letter as a self selected text

I haven't read the novel but I did look it up in Wikkipedia just then. If you like the novel, then use it! It certainly seems complex enough for a good enough discussion on belonging for the few hundred words on the related text.

    Modern History Notes

This. Be wary however for your school. Your school may give you some dodgy assessment on WWI that will be unlike what you should expect for the HSC exams themselves.

20-30 minutes train ride? I'm also not sure if the tutoring company I have in mind is hiring people though.

Late Round Offers & Alternative Pathways

Re: FAQ: Late Round Offers There are so many students wanting to get into commerce in the second round lol. Not to break your hopes or anything, but I think the chances are slim. There are a lot of people. I assume that since there will also be quite a few bonus points people (like you and...
