If you have the dedication and motivation, you can study during the holidays without burning out. It's all about the willpower! :)

Maths aside... The extension subjucts are supposedly easier. Major projects mainly consist of independent research and study. The difficulty of these are simply due to the fact that it takes A LOT of dedication, time and effort. That's my interpretation of it anyway

I'm excited to see everyone again; teachers and students alike! :D I'm not excited to endure the pressure of asessments and assignments for the next 3 months until the next holidays D:

Hey Everyone! :D So the question here is: What do you do during the holidays? Study to learn ahead or relax yourself so you are prepared to absorb information more efficiently during school? Or would you just do both?

Thank you all for your posts! It helped me a great deal :) I think I'll continue wiht both subjects for the time being and if I have to, drop the one I'm weaker at. I will try my best to take both for the HSC though :D

I've done a fair bit of research for my EE2 project, decided on the form and the conceptual outline. Other than that, not much done sadly :(

Tutors are useful, but it wouldn't kill you if you didn't have one. You can get a high ATAR If you can keep focused and motivate yourself enough :)
