    Fees.

Aren't fees due by today (4th March)? What's the difference between the census dates on 4th of March and 31st of March?

    Fees.

I've applied for a TFN but am yet to receive it, however I did hand in certified proof that I had applied for one from the ATO to Student Central who said this would be enough to apply for HECS and would pass it on to the student fees team. I'm still listed as a full-fee paying student on myUNSW...

    AAA Scholarship, timetabling.

All of you were repped for taking the time to answer my inane questions, thanks.

    AAA Scholarship, timetabling.

2 questions: 1. Does the AAA scholarship apply to late round offers (assuming vacancies are made and you are within the 5 ATAR points)? I think I may have changed my mind about something, not so sure about the decision I've made. 2. How big a deal is having consecutive classes, especially if...

Engineering at UNSW - computing 1A??

Can't be assed starting my own thread. If I do COMP1911 or COMP1917 instead of ENGG1811, would I still be able to go into the civil engineering stream (or any other stream that suggests taking ENGG1811) next year? Wondering about COMP1917 in particular, btw.

    Eng/Law

Ahh, that's good to hear then. And yeah, I've only got 3, maybe 4 at max disciplines in mind so (Y). Not quite. Almost every man and his dog combines engineering with commerce, so I guess eng/law would stand out slightly. Also, I find law far more interesting than commerce (well, at least the...

    Eng/Law

I have two questions and would much appreciate it if someone knowledgeable/experienced would answer at least one of them. 1. Does anyone know why they don't allow combining flexible-year engineering with law like they do with commerce? 2. How easy is it to transfer between engineering majors...

Dedicated State-ranking HSC tutor (Eco, Chem, Maths, English) + Extensive resources

Re: Dedicated State-ranking HSC tutor (Eco, Chem, Maths, English) + Extensive resourc I may seem insincere saying the same thing about d3st1nyLiang here (as I did with khfreakau), but he too (funnily enough) ran through the course with me in the lead up to our chem HSC exam. I walked in and out...

    Co-op scholarhip

Also your masturbation problem would have been a thing too, so

    Co-op scholarhip

Yeah, didn't get one (for either civil or mechanical engineering). Pretty disappointed because I've had my eyes on this for a while and had spent a fair amount of time on my application (which I had thought was decent). Rejection was a humbling experience, I suppose.
  12. R

    Erm... estimate your mark ...

inafter khfreakau-style shutdown. On topic: Absolute worst case scenario of 76.
  13. R

    cutoffs.

Mmm, was hoping for higher but okay. Thanks.
  14. R

    cutoffs.

What would 68-72/84 get as an exam mark?

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Extension 1

Who thinks they are going to get 99+?

Mmm, I look forward to seeing someone from St. Gregory's on the list, then. It's good to see you have confidence in your classmates, btw. Oh, and to contribute to the thread: I will probably get high 98s, maybe will be able to push it to low 99s.
  17. R

Who thinks they are going to get 99+?

I'm very keen on knowing what your school rank is. It doesn't make sense for someone to be able to 'write out the whole course' but still lose the easiest marks in the entire paper. With MC the answer is even given as an option so he should be able to pick it out immediately, right? I get the...

    Parents as Referees

Not sure how well that will work. Also, they ask you to bring the reports to the interview so :\ This is what I've got on my application at the moment, but it makes me look like a bit of a dunce for misplacing it.
  19. R

    Parents as Referees

Yeah, putting your parents as referees doesn't sound like the greatest of ideas. It's okay if you're super super desperate, I suppose. Speaking of desperate - I have no idea where my yr11 half-yearly report is and I'm flipping the fuck out. wat do

    Engineering/Law

Alright, thanks guys. Looks like I may not be doing eng/law, unless I still can't make up my mind. I was almost sold for a moment there.
