Modern history = MAKE ESSAYS ON THE 'LARGE THEMES' basically make every essay you can possibly think of .. our teacher made our class do this and we had over 9+ band 6'es in a class of 30 =)

There are circumstances that would warrant it for sure , if you're not ready to have a baby it's best to have an abortion anyway as opposed to keeping it for moralistic issues.
Past papers , revision of syllabus notes and practicing every possible textbook question :) I found that for the humanities , if you could memorize the dotpoints/provide a lot of in depth information from your own findings , you're bound to do well!
Doing past papers for legal wont help - its a new syllabus and the structure for crime +human rights has completely changed , not to mention they abolished Law and society.
God it would suck for people who didn't do the specified speeches/essays/poems , but maybe BOS just wants everyone to know they're serious about the whole learn 'every speech/poem/essay' etc etc :l
I know! Urgh but there wasnt anything to really do anyways , revise notes - sure but overall you'd have forgotten it close to half yearlies/yearlies anyways -.-.;
Subjects do matter. Sure there are people who do relatively well, anyway with any combination of subjects but I've seen all my friends this year get dragged down. My friend only got 2 band 6'es and the rest low/mid band 5's and got 96.8. whereas another person topped a state in a subject and...
