Just wondering if anyone who has done PSY 349 could please tell me what it is like, eg is it harder than second year stats? Also, what is 351 like?

I can't decide though. I don't really care which unit I do, just can't decide whether 1 then 4 is better, or 2 then 3.

I need some good examples of band 6 responses to belonging essays. I am trying to help a friend. I did my HSC 6 years ago and did well, but it was on journeys then, so would prefer to get some examples of good Belonging essays.

All of the sample essays that I have read don't mention themes, they only mention the thesis. Don't you need themes as well though?

But how do you define 'shit student'? What mark?

95+ is beyond really well. How many people get that?! So, conversely, if you are doing a PHD, and got say a credit in the unit, could you still tutor?

But say you go really well in a unit (ie, 80 or above) that is an elective, you can't become a tutor?

Does anyone know how you can become a tutor? I've heard that, regardless of department, you need to have obtained a D, ie a minimum of 75, in the unit that you want to tutor. Is this correct, or are the requirements different?

Oh, I see. That seems a bit weird, because a pass would drop from 4.0 to a fail at 0, as opposed to the incremental drop of 2 in the 4.0 system. Really, I can't see any uni and/or course not accepting you with your current marks.

Why wouldn't you do it? Not worth the extra mark? I partially agree, which is why I am not sure. Why do you think this would be, though? It just seems a bit perplexing to me. Just a mistake on the convenor's part, or something else?
