yeah, i thought it was an ok test. there wasn't as much calculation work as i thought, which was great for me!!!!
i also finished after 2 hours, couldn't think of anything else to write!!
of all the places that i've been, i would say that Nepal/Tibet, Thailand and Canada were my favourites!!
i would love to go to Japan, Russia, Greece, Germany, and all around the Scandinavian countries!!!
basically, i'm just reading all my notes, trying to remember how to do all the calculations, and remember all my important facts that i might need.
good luck to all other engineering students!!!!
i must say, it was an easier exam than i thought it would be!!!
then again, in saying that, i'll probably fail!!!! haha
there were a few tough questions, but it wasn't too bad.
nice, see you at AA!!!! (even though i have no idea who you are!!! lol)
yeah, me and my friend are going to screamfest for 2 bands mainly, Ensiferum and Black Majesty!
my favourite movies would be:
*Pulp Fiction
*Kill Bill (1 and 2)
*Blues Brothers
*V for Vendetta
*Sin City
*The Godfather (1st is my favourite!)
*Ace Ventura (both)
*Zoolander
*Kingdom of Heaven
*Gladiator
*Braveheart
*Monsters vs Aliens !!!
yeah...
1) a whole bunch of people seeing something happening doesn't automatically make it an act of god.
2) these 'apparitions' were by 3 children...3 kids!!! seriously, how many things have happened where a child says something, and everyone believes them!!!
i will admit, the timing that they say...
if you read the first line of the article, it says:
"The Miracle of the Sun...is an alleged miraculous event..."
notice the word 'alleged'?
that doesn't mean that is did in fact happen the way it is said to have happened, as a sign from prominent Christian persons. seriously, no-one knows...
i can't say i agree with this statement. just because our science hasn't developed far enough to exactly determine such things as the universe's creation, doesn't automatically mean that there HAS TO BE a supernatural force behind it all.
I'm not saying that you're wrong for believing that, i...
for the sakes of everyone doing the exam (including me!!!) i hope it's a general kind of question, where you can choose any writing form you want. i've seen it before in another exam, and it was SWEET!!!!! haha
hey, i'm year 12!
we did: Cities of Vesuvius (core topic)
Spartan society to the battle of Leuctra
Persian Wars
Hatshepsut
overall not too bad, but could've been better!!!
i don't mean that they are irrelevent, because obviously they aren't to millions of people!!! what i mean is that you can't depend on a text from a millenium ago as support for things which shouldn't be tolerated nowadays, such as beating women if they don't want sex.
all these texts have...
hey, nice work everyone!!! we've been able to completely change the nature of the topic, from atheists 'attacking' christians, to EVERYONE 'attacking' islam!!!!
also, anyone who takes the holy texts of any religion as the 'divine, true words', and believe everything that is said in those...
how can you compare watching a kid's movie and getting ice cream with getting raped by your husband??? if the wife doesn't want sex, says no, but is forced into it by her husband, THAT IS RAPE!!! whether or not they're married, it doesn't make it any less of a problem!! if the husband really...
oh, i just noticed you don't do HSC until next year!!!! i didn't get it until about half way through year 12!! (i think, it all depends on your school!)
