yeh sorry i realised it was hard to understand. so i used the equation thing to make it clearer

\frac{1}{2}x \sqrt{25-x^{2}} thats what you have to differentiate then find the max x value

ok guys got this problem part one requires you to show the area is A= x/2 [squareroot (25-x^2)]^1/2 i can get that but i cant differentiate this and solve for when the first derivative = 0. would someone be able to show how its done?
