    wouldn't IB be more convenient in applying to the US? anyway, i was able to be offered to 2 of the schools you mentioned to enter in yr 10. They are top of the state, so you need to be able to perform well in their interviews, really sell yourself as to why that school would be good for you...

    study smart, not hard - by that i mean, discriminate between the useful homework and the ones that don't help and are time consuming. i didn't make notes until maybe 3 weeks before exams. i typed them out, printed, and highlighted. and did past papers. although i had some stressful nights...
