    steel with nickel and chromium in is is called stainless steel we arent really concerned with the amount of carbon as it isnt what it is used for i believe that a few percent manganese is used to make the steel strong

    i havent bothered learning the winkler method another method that they can use which is a way lot simpler is to use an oxygen probe all u really need to talk bout is calibration etc....
