This! I am absolutely lost, 'cause apparently Macquarie starts a week earlier than most universities and I don't have any textbooks, haven't paid my uni fees (not sure what is going on with my HECS application either) and just enrolled into my units. Do we just follow our first sem timetable...

I'm in a similar situation. How about a media degree at Macquarie to Journalism @ UTS? I read on UTS you need a credit average and a 70 WAM or something along the lines of this to transfer, I have no idea what that equates to? Also, how exactly would you go about transferring? I'm not trolling...

After seeing a friend studying forensics at UWS and maintaining a credit average with distinctions and a high distinction which allowed her to transfer to UNSW...makes me think if transferring to a more prestigious uni is worth the dilemma? I will be studying media with the aim of a career...

I've heard Wollongong is tops for Journalism, very practical and a lot of opportunities for internships, behind UTS of course, while UNSW and USyd are way too theory-based. I think the media courses are Mac are fairly new so I'm not too sure
