    Safest long term investment

well, safest would be bonds in a country of your choice (preferably not zimbarbwe) but they give you shithouse returns, from memory the us tresary ones were down a half a percent. But if you put a bit more risk into the equation then you will make more money, shares aren't bad in that respect...

Predict what you got for the last question for science out of 7

Lolz, I just said that we need to use less water and use gray water, then talked about how bad it is to destroy habitats and how the amount of water needed will always grow so we need to be almost self reliant. RECYCLING FTW!!!!!!

LOL. who didn't study? i aced that betch.

It was easy, I just don't feel any need to study for the SC as it really doesn't mean anything ( I already have my classes for next year :) )

    World of warcraft

I played until recently, it was fun but getting to 70 is just too much of an effort, specially as a pally. I got to 67 then gave up and instanced 99% of the way.

The Official PS3 vs. Xbox 360 Thread

The 360 is always going to have less exclusives coming out, and less and less in the future as it only has 2 exclusive developers in comparison to the numerous studios that Sony has access to. This is a good thing as there is a move away from exclusives. Microsoft needs to launch a new...

Mac Comps. Are You A Victim?

Mac's are great computers and work a lot better than PC's in almost every respect. They have almost every program that a PC does, with being more secure, simpler, longer lasting and better designed than 90% of computers on the market. But they can't game for shit. So you dual boot. But...

    Now what?

Yeah I'd be grateful for some passes with my trials. But I wont know until next term  Stupid lazy teachers. Yeah, I'm doing nothing were just having a "Camps Week" where the cadets go on camp and everyone else bludges (one of the many advantages of not doing cadets)

Have most in your school gotten their preferred subjects?

Thats surprising, as long as the person who organizes the subjects has some idea of what they are doing, it should work fine ??

Tips for good exam creative writing

If only I had seen this a week ago "sigh". I didn't know most of this, I just got told to never end in "and then I woke up" and to stick clear of melodrama and violence. Also to write about something simple.

    deteriorating books

Mine just look like crap all the time, even the ones that live in my locker ( i.e. subjects that I do on my laptop) I have to write quick or I miss what I needed to write down, But then I never could write well and quickly at the same time, so I gave up a long time ago :)

Is the Trial school certificate exams the same for everyone in nsw?

Yeah they trials are a lot harder than the SC papers, after having done heaps of both. The supervisors are complete retards at my school, we were in the first test (Divinity ) they had to get the school Sargent to come down and yell at us to stop talking and "disrupting" those who were...

Have most in your school gotten their preferred subjects?

That all sounds quite confusing (as i look over it in a confused and sleepless state   ) My school we just submit what subjects we want to do and they work the lines around it. Only 3 people needed to reselect (they were all people in the bottom classes as well  )...

Total number of units for Year 11

Yeah, my school limits it at 12units as well, and we have 6 periods a day (with 5 on 2 days 'cause of assembly and co-curricular activity ). They claim they can't fit it in but I'm doing 13 units anyway with a Accounting (better than studies of religion :) )

    Trials!!

"sigh" , my school usually rolls over in term 4 to the next year. But we got a new principal this year that decided 2 weeks ago that we shouldn't roll over this year. So I have a full term of study for the SC  (in most subjects we will still do "skills" towards the year 11 subjects and...

    Anyone taking a TVET Course?

I'm doing accounting. I'm still trying to decide whether to do it at Randwick, the one near Royal North Shore Hospital or by correspondence. I was also thinking about doing hardware servicing but it doesn't give a UAI :(
