    Remembering vocab.... How the fudge do you squish it in?

    get a japanese revision book or a textbook and just read and read. if you dont really write in the vocab translations for the ones you dont know, it forces you to rememer them or look them up when they appear again. if you read out loud, it will also improve your fluency when you do speaking exams.

    advice please?

    i would say do get a tutor, after all theres only a couple of months to go..i'm assuming you're doing the hsc this year? its good to get all the help you can and there's probably things you might not learn or not enough time if you do correspondence. a native speaker isn't nessasarily better...
