Ranked in the 30s is still pretty good. What rank is yours? Who cares if they are not a full selective high school, they still beat many schools in the state (i'm pretty sure). And anyway asian parents perceive their sons/daughters not as the last resort but because they live vicariously...

Which school is 95% asian and offers standard english? Just curious. And know i wouldn't: i'm aiming for 90 anyway.

I know some people from your school and 96.5 is not a very realistic aim. The dux of our school last year was 91. And i know the dux of your school was about 97 in 2007. So unless you are dux atm or intend to be you should probably be very happy with 90+. I'd be happy with 90+ as well :D

American universities. Good luck. Also since you do standard english, you'll have to be in the top 20 in the state ie band 6 to make it with usyd's cutoff. Unless you get state rankings for half your other subjects. Try becon blaws at uws.

Your first language is your mother tongue i.e. in your case korean. Are you ashamed of your asian-ness or something? You're worse than other asians then.
