I got an ATAR of 92.35 and currently am doing software eng. I want to combine Software eng + commerce in a double degree. Is there a good range of WAM needed to transfer?
I know if I did less than 48 CP, They will use my ATAR but my ATAR is around 2.65 points short, which can admit me depending...
Hey, I got an ATAR of 93.45 (which is high enough for engineering and commerce, since I'm Eligible for MySydney), however, I did math standard 2 and not Math Advanced, So Im currently taking the MOOC Classes to bypass the Math Advanced Prerequisite for engineering. However, my MOOC exam for the...
Hey, I got an ATAR of 92.35, and am planning to do a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies / Bachelor of Commerce at UNSW (which has an LSR of 98.00)
Through EAS, I have 4 circumstances at the moment (Low SES area, Refugee background, Death of a family member, Financial Disadvantage) and need around...
I go to a school that is in the 400-500 ranking. (Estimating that is)
It's also to note that, according to my teachers:
* english advanced was roughly the same difficulty as the typical HSC paper

* Math...
Hey everyone, I just wanted to post this to gain an insight into how this works.
So obviously, to get a band 6 in a subject you do need a mark of 90-100 (as suggested in the NESA website)
However, is this mark scaled or raw?
For physics, in 2020 roughly 12.4% of students achieved a band 6...
I applied to UAC for 5 Engineering UTS courses. It says my English Requirments are still pending.
For context I was born overseas and starting Australian schooling in Year 3, and I am currently in English Advanced (top half of class, Averaging a low A) Point is, I can speak English.
I don't...
So basically to keep it short i did horribly in the math standard trial exam couple days ago and Im very sure my ranking will go from 1st to 3rd/4th (considering the others have not found the exam hard, which im pretty sure everyone did).
Because of this I feel like theres no hope for this...
I'm not an English person. I'm more of STEM, not one who reads, analyses, etc etc. I picked English advanced for the purpose of it scaling higher but at this point I do not really care as much.
The entire subject just... its not for me. I feel its useless. I'm hesitant to drop it but I do want...
I suck at writing essays and It seems like I can't improve no matter how hard I try. I'd like to improve but Idk what resources I have available other than drafting. Is tutoring worth it?
I've been mostly a C student in advanced, apart from prelims where I got a B because I genuinly studied. I've been unlucky with essay writing times as I'm a slow writer. However standard isn't doing any much better. My mark of 41/60 in advanced was higher than the English standard highest mark...
