If you choose to study a language, what's the difference between studying it through an arts degree and an international studies degree?
Aside from the compulsory 1 year exchange for international, is that it? Is it better to study Comm (International) or Comm (Arts)?
I'm just wondering...
Hey guys
Say you need to find the conc. of C6H8O7 in a drink. To do this, you dilute 50mL of the drink to 500mL then you take out 25mL of this diluted solution and titrate it standardised NaOH.
You know the volume of NaOH used and you know the concentration so you can find moles of NaOH used...
A horizontal drainpipe 6 m above sea level empties stormwater into the sea. If the water comes out horizontally and reaches the sea 2 m out from the pipe, find the initial velocity of the water, correct to 1 decimal place. Let g be 10 ms−2 and neglect air resistance.
plss help :biggrin:
Hey guys
How exactly does Planck's hypothesis explain the experimental results/predicted curve on radiation vs intensity graph?
I get that he proposed that the energy from the black body is a multiple of a minimum value (E = hf) but how does this explain the bell shape curve????
quick question:
how do we know when to use just the compound interest formula vs. when to use like A1 = ___, A2 = ____ etc therefore total = A1 + A2 + A3... etc (essentially you use the sum of the GP)
Find y"
given that y = (e^2x + 1)^7
help me i end up with this really funky answer
many thanks :eek::rotfl::jawdrop::fish::guitar::rolleyes2::hammer::blink2:
Hey guys so the question is
differentiate this:
3^x all over x
I solved it using quotient rule and I got 3^x(x-1) all over x^2 but the answers 3^x(xIn3 - 1) all over x^2.
How did the log come into place???
:confused::cook::pirate::shoot::cool2::angel:
thx as always
One test used for random breath testing in NSW involved crystals of potassium dichromate reacting with ethanol. In this reaction the orange dichromate ion, Cr2O2− 7, changes to the green chromium ion, Cr 3+. Which statement is true for this reaction?
(A) Chromium has lost electrons and...
Subject selections are coming up soon!
How risky is it to do 11 units? :S I want to do 12 units but I hear the workload is pretty stressful. And on top of that you need to be managing your time well - something I'm bad at..
What do you guys think?
y = x all over the sqrt(x^2 + 1)
How do you know which is the best rule to use? Because you can use both product and quotient rule in this eg :S
Thanks!! :D
(a + b + c)(ab + bc + ca) - abc = (a + b)(b + c)(c + a)
Can anyone show the full working out? My algebra stinks.
After working it out, I got up to here, now what? :(
LHS = ab( a + b) + ac (a + c) + bc (b + c) + 2abc
