What is the best way to make personal, self-study notes in Ext maths? There are a lot of methods out there for stuff like bio, but is making good notes for maths just writing formulas and worked examples? How can I use the syllabus to my advantage here?
If a and b are non-zero, and a + b = 0, prove that the polynomials A(x) = x^3 + ax^2 − x + b and
B(x) = x^3 + bx^2 − x + a have a common factor of degree 2 but are not identical polynomials. What
is the common factor?
Would it be possible to get an ATAR above 98 in HSC year when you are getting C's in Prelim year, and take 4u subjects in HSC year when you are struggling to stay on top of everything in prelim 3u?

Hey all!
Right now my ultimate maximum for the Cambridge Year 11 Maths Ext. 1 is not even the last few questions in the Development section. How can I bring myself up to the level of completing the Enrichment questions in that textbook with minimal assistance?
Thanks,

How did y'all manage your time during exams like the HSC and Trials? How should your time be divided up according to marks? Also, what is the best way to use reading time effectively?
