Hey, I'm a little confused by 'critical essay', it's a bit broad, does the teacher want a critical essay analysing a text or just a literary critical essay? Anyways here are a few of my favourites: After the Lost Generation; a critical study of the writers of two wars- John Aldridge Reading...

THE RELATIVITY OF SIMULTANEITY:- Help me physics nerds

That does make sense, thanks :). My reference to the doors as observers makes sense too, because they observe a stimulus. I think my problem was that I wasn't distinguishing between the door's role as observers/reactors (if that makes sense?)

THE RELATIVITY OF SIMULTANEITY:- Help me physics nerds

hmmm, I can see what your saying and I aggree, it seems that the doors are observers yes. But, einstein reckoned they did, I'm really just assuming that part about the difference in observation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relativity_of_simultaneity And this leads me to the conclusion that...

THE RELATIVITY OF SIMULTANEITY:- Help me physics nerds

Q: "why would the doors be opening?" A: "according to that observer (the one on the inside) the light flashes will reach the front and back of the train at precisely the same instant of time — simultaneously." " My Question: If the doors ONLY open if the light strikes them...

THE RELATIVITY OF SIMULTANEITY:- Help me physics nerds

ok, this is a question i posed in class and my teacher, didnt know. This is a standard model: A flash of light is given off at the center of the train just when the two observers pass each other. The observer on the train sees the front and back of the train at fixed distances away from the...

    Proposal: "Annotated Bibliography" vs "Resources"?

I've read the post by jhakka and glitterfairy (*THANKYOU-so very much*) but I have a few questions to anyone about this section: 1. Should I be incorporating quotes from my research into my proposal? (as to have footnotes)- I mean in my current draft I havent but I could go out of my way to...

Should eng. be a manditory subject?

Ok, here's my 2 cents: I'm a 4u Student, and I think one problem pointed out earlier is that when you do ext. 1, especially value analysis and genre theory type things it tends to invalidate a lot of what you do in eng. advanced and makes you feel like what your saying is complete crap unless...

    The Stress is Overrated

Ok, firstly, I'm just trying to say that humanities tend to be more based on work, so I'm saying that more people could get a 90+ with humanities. I accept that people cannot all get the same results with the same ammount of work. I suppose that we have reached an impasse because basically I'm...

    The Stress is Overrated

Ok, I'm sorry if I upset you. But let me say this: while it is true that I dont know your situation, you dont know that because you dont my situation either. All either of us can do is relate each other's apparent situations to people we have seen/known. The syllabus is based more on "academic...
