    Hey srkrox! we are on the same boat!LOL Except I am trying to do that in Usyd.. I heard uai97 and a distinction average is quite competitive =] I also heard it's quite easy to get distinction ave in unsw.

    I missed mine by 0.35 pts. lol I am planning to do an easier but related course at the same uni then transfer. Although the course's cut-off is about 10pts below mine, i feel it's the best option. =@ Then again, if i fail to transfer, i am f_ed.

    I think you should really decide according to how useful they would be when you leave uni. I personally love to do two languages but then realised that the chance of me ever using French is pretty slim and I already have a good understanding of Chinese.     Transferring from dfee to csp

    I believe you can try every yr if you are transferring from DFEE to CSP. The "first year only" applies to CSP to CSP.

    I know ppl who got in without a high mark in English and didnt choose 4u or even 3u maths. Their uai range from 89~93.
