If I could choose any place, I'd go Inner west, somewhere around Newtown.. Within 10km of the city, 15km of beaches, easy to access with public transport.. Good shops and a nice feel. I live in Hurstville now and have since I was in year 4, which isn't too bad, but probably wouldn't wanna live...
