Our dux is based on UAI. Our 1st aggregate is more similar to what your school describes as the dux.

It's been this way for a while now. If you take extension 2 maths, then extension 1 maths counts for 2 units towards your HSC and UAI, extension 2 maths counts for 2 units as well, and 2 unit maths is ignored.

I do pretty much nothing in SOR1 and am ranked =3rd going into the HSC exams. That's how bludgy it is.

I never found doing the 2 unit paper in 2005 a wate of time, indeed it helped me better for the extension 1 paper when I did it the year after, it gave me the skills necessary to be able to handle the paper better than I did in 2005, so I would go and do the paper, that experience is definitely...

I'm indifferent about the HSC exams.

I manage to pull it off when I watch TV sometimes :o
