Did somone say no more english??

I just burnt everything that had any relation with the advanced english course. Felt fanfuckingtastic. :D

It was easy! Do you agree?

Easy :D If I was a little bit more prepared for KL, answering that question would've been a whole lot easier but that said, i still found it easy. I liked the questions (all essays! YAY!) and the Frontline question would have to be the easiest, even though i didn't finish it. :) Just happy...

:S Need help on my Year 12 subject selections.

Why would some who is very capable of doing difficult subjects, avoid them and pick easier subjects? People choose high scaling subjects because usually, they know that they're capable of doing well in them. No one wants to sit through the last year of high school doing subjects, which don't...

    over it?

Yeah, so did I. I have curry parents, lol and they're cool. :D A bit protective but still COOL.

how do you write fast and legibly in eng exams

Practice, practice, practice. :) But not too much, cause then you'll tire yourself out. I'd suggest for you to shorten one or two of your essays a bit more. It'll give you some extra time if your hands do start to hurt. Agree with zaqwerty - Decent pen + don't press too hard. I'm quite...

What do the teachers think of ur year?

Our teachers say the same thing every year - "You guys were the best year!" :mad1: I think it's true though. :o This thread is old. :)

    Question regarding JUAI

I still don't get it. :o It's not the actual mark? Maybe i should read this tomorrow. I need sleep. Oh, i hope so :D Aren't you doing the double degree - b business/b sci in IT? - that's my first pref.

    Question regarding JUAI

I've already posted this in the main JUAI thread, but people don't visit it much so yeah. :) Can someone please clarify this for me - The numbers that appear under the SCALED section (beside the hsc marks) - are they the actual marks i would recieve for each test? Is it the raw mark, that we...

    Self Selected Text for Frontline

No one told me that i couldn't use it but my EE1 teacher said that in ext we cant use a text from any of the other english courses as a self selected text. I just assumed that it applied to all english courses. :)

    Advice on selection

:S Need help on my Year 12 subject selections.

What she said. :) It's Ext 2 math. Math is time consuming - no matter what level you do. You don't need to be told that it will take up a lot of your time.

    Hsc 2008?

No offence, but should this even concern us? Unless you intend on tutoring?

:S Need help on my Year 12 subject selections.

If you intend on doing extremely well in your other subjects and are sure that you can maintain those results....DROP business. OR. you could keep business as a back up as you don't know what situation you'll be in, this time next year.

    UTS or UWS?

Business but I'm interested in IT, so it works out. :) I considered the option of transferring but from what I've researched + what people have told me - I need distinctions throughout, a good gpa and an extremely solid personal statement. After all that, it's not guaranteed so i don't want...

:S Need help on my Year 12 subject selections.

Business only scales poorly IF you do shit, which you're not. Keep going and if it all gets to hard, drop it. :) Maths Ext 2 - will obviously be time consuming and some of the girls who did it in my year were advised against it because of the work but, if you are capable - Do it.

    UTS or UWS?

As much as i'd love to do business law, i've made my mind up on b business/b sci in IT at UTS - i like what i've read about the course so far and i've always wanted to go to UTS. Several people i've spoken to have said, its better if i do b business at UTS and then transfer to the double degree...
