I'm considering dropping Math Ext. 1 for Modern History. Is it too late considering it is last week of term 1 and they have already done an assessment. Could I swap at the end of year 11 or have I lost my chance forever?

I'm starting out in English Ext. 1 right now and finding it pretty easy.. I understand all of it but we haven't really been tested or anything so I could be completely wrong-- etc. I may have to drop it and I have been told by the principal whose daughter does it in year 12 that it gets harder..
