To get into ADFA, redoing the HSC or doing the TPC at TAFE; or going back to school to repeat year 11 and 12 seemed to be my only options, and I figured that if I chose the HSC, I would be able to do subjects that I already had experience in. My ATAR from 2010 was only 56.30.

Well that's part of it, but also because I want to get into ADFA or a high ATAR cut-off degree at somewhere like UNSW. I figured that redoing the HSC would be the best way to go because it keeps options open, as opposed to some of the foundation courses that universities offer.
