My mark isn't a good indicator on the quality of what i had prepared (i majorly messed up my creative in the HSC).

If you want to change it, you have to go to Student Central, get a form, fill it out, hand it in, then wait a few hours for your details to update in their system. So better just do it in the morning then get your ID in the afternoon, or get it the next day.

One of my mates work as a barista/bartender (fresh out of high school, just got RSA) and is earning $20+ per hour. Another used to work at a hotel at the reception (no prior experience in this area, fresh out of high school), also earning $20+ per hour. I'm sure there's more.

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive I don't see a problem unless the extra information is wrong. Go ahead and add extra information if you like, but just remember that all the marks that can be awarded are given for things in the syllabus.

It could. The minimum turning point can have any y-value as the graph of y = P(x) can be shifted in any way vertically by a constant (which is annihilated after differentiation).

Q8. By looking at the graph, you can tell there's a horizontal inflexion at x = 1 and a minimum turning point at x = -5/4. Now you know that the equation must have (x-1)^3 in it. If you do a quick sketch of the possible graph, you notice how there must be an x-intercept less than -5/4, so...
